Oh ..... The good ole days .... Laughing, cutting up, enjoying the park at less than a hammer pace. Great ride last night guys. Great to see some lost souls ................
One other note. 5 minutes in we came up on Bob hacking a rather large tree from Golf Course trail. We all chipped in, we also moved another blow down on the backside. Kudos to Bob for ALL of his maintenance he does at Cherokee (Mostly sight unseen by himself). Just off the top of my head he has repaired/replaced/built the following;
Bridges at WL
Bridge at Seneca Golf Trail
Re-Routes at seminary
Repaired the dreaded drop off at seminary
Banks at KyMBA Downhill
Multiple, Multiple Trimming
If I missed one or two please add.

I think that I saw your group at the end of my circuit Marv. Up by the new dog area. You folks were just entering the downhill section as I was climbing up to it.
I wouldv'e said hey but I'm shy and I was whooped! BTW who was the strong chick on the rigid single speed? She is my new hero. ;-D
I'm building a SS right now and I don't think that I can come close to the speed that she was pulling.

I just noticed this thread has the most replies. I wasn't even prepared for this.
First, I'd like to thank little 6lb 8oz baby Jesus in his golden fleece diapers, my parents for not selling me on the black market, and Ruffles because they have ridges.
I'll make it out next Wednesday to play caboose if you guys are riding again. |
