Ben (my 8yr old) and I have our kayaks on the pickup this morning. We're going to Laurel Lake to paddle for an hour or two. Likely arrival around noon. Company is welcome.

Anybody that plans on riding the lake trail today (or to be down this way), put a pair of running shoes in the car if you're interested in alittle foot mileage too. I possibly could stagger around for 30 minutes to an hour of trailrunning. (I'm thinking from the spillway to the marina and back.)

Gas is practicaly free; ya'll might as well head this way!
