she LOVES it. i knew she would. of course she had built it up in her head that it was going to be horrible. of course it wasn't. she had a blast and finally discovered what mountain biking is all about - simplicity and fun. every time i saw her coming out of a trail at cherokee she was all smiles. she even liked the fully rigid aspect.

my wife is a REAL mountain biker now. no disputing that. and we're probably the only husband/wife couple in the state with "nearly  matching" surly 1x1s!
