As many folks have suggested, need to focus more energy on developing a Louisville-area chapter of KyMBA. While we've been growing the club outside of the Louisville area, we haven't invested as much time getting the Louisville chapter organized. We are still working out some of the 501c3 details - so things like paying our insurance and filing with the IRS and state Commerce Cabinet will continue to evolve, but most of the regular club functions still need attention. We have trail leaders - Chris Ward at Waverly, Bob Bohn and myself at Cherokee (OCP now has their own paid staff person) - and we have a couple folks helping work on website development and administration, but we could certainly use additional help with things like tracking volunteer hours, organizing group rides and events, managing membership, etc. If anyone of the Louisville-area folks would like to help out, please drop me a line.
