I am assembling some names of folks that I am hoping will eventually become an education committee of sorts. Almost everyone agrees that we need to start a campaign of some kind and I'm thinking we'll need a pretty diverse leadership group if we want to get the word out. I am on the Mayor's bicycle task force and the board of Bicycling for Louisville, so as we grow the committee, I should be able to get some additional information and possibly resources to make our outreach more effective.
For now, please send me names of people you think would be good to have involved in a leadership/ educational role. Think big - and think diverse. Doctors, lawyers, indian chiefs - but also butcher, baker, candlestick maker. Probably going to need between 12 and 20 to make this work.
